Description

This just sort of grew out of some doodling in Photoshop. I wanted to draw this little imp/demon sucking on Bastion's wrist, and the rest just grew up around it.

I'm slightly hesitant about submitting this as it has so many squirrelly aspects, but on the other hand I feel guilty for not uploading anything here in a while. The pressure! It burns!

Anyway, this is mostly PS7 and since it's really just a doodle, the working size was only about 1200px across. A lot of pixel pushing consequently went on.

This is only a doodle? :o Squirrelly or not, details of everything are great, love the little green beast

Is pixel pushing where you zoom in very close and change the individual pixels?

I like the overall motion of it but I find it hard to see whats going oin fully, I guess some kind of dark ritual by the necromancer but I dont understand why the eel bites the other eel.

Yeah, yeah, it's just a doodle and oh, by the way, the Sistine Chapel's ceiling is just a painted ceiling.

Awesome painting, GlassShard!

Full marks, but the color is still somewhat "compartmentalized".

I like composition, very detailed. I think necromancer doesn't need to have evil look. :) 7/7

I'm a little confused over the pointing hand, where does it connect to the guy (or does it?)
Anyway, this is really good, especially for a doodle :) I think he looks like a necromancer, the red under his eyes is a sign of staying up way too late :)
The imp is great, scary little critter. And...is that a halo?

I really do love the critters. Sick, sick, sick. Very nice work on the red eels' textures--and I like that smoke effect.

Great whisps on the eels. The top of the necromancer's head and the top of the green fellow's head line up horizontally which cuts into the movement. The borders pinch a bit, too.
I love your twisty, convoluted compositions.
